16 Years of Passion: The Journey to La Rose
Years ago, I was just like you, a bride-to-be searching for the perfect wedding dress. Frustrated by the limited options, poor fits, and high prices in local bridal shops, I wondered if there could be a better way.
This frustration sparked an idea. What if there was a place where brides could design their own dresses that were both beautiful and affordable?
Motivated by this thought, I started learning everything I could about bridal fashion. It wasn't easy—there were plenty of setbacks and restarts. But four years later, I launched Catherine Bridal right out of my basement with just four sample dresses. I used Facebook to spread the word and gradually, more brides began to visit.
Over the next 12 years, I didn't just stop at making dresses. I learned about floristry and wedding beauty services to offer a full bridal experience from one place. The idea was simple: make everything easier for brides by providing everything they need in one spot.
In 2022, I opened La Rose. Moving the business out of my basement was a big and somewhat scary step, but it was necessary. Now, La Rose is a place where I can share my passion and creativity more broadly, helping brides bring their wedding visions to life.
I love what I do, from designing dresses to creating flower arrangements and doing wedding makeup. The positive feedback from my clients reminds me why I started this business in the first place.
